The rule we will not break
Your coins are never taken away
A free player earns coins from the very first win, and that balance is banked and never reset. If you try to spend before unlocking, the game says “Your 480 coins are saved! Full access lets you spend them.” — and then it keeps them.
Only the winner is paid
100 coins for the win, plus 12 a knockout. Nothing for second. A prize for losing is not a prize.
Cosmetics never affect play
Not one item in the shop changes a single combat number. A cape is a cape. There is no pay-to-win here and there will not be.
No loot boxes
You cannot buy a random chance at anything. Every price is written on the item, and you walk up to it and read it.
The shop
What the coins actually buy
A hat is one good match, so a first session ends with something to show for it. A legendary cat is a run of wins. Something to buy today, and something to want for a fortnight.
| Item | What the game says about it | Coins |
|---|---|---|
| Ball Cap | Worn backwards, obviously. | 60 |
| Shades | For cats who have seen things. | 80 |
| Party Hat | Every match is a celebration. | 100 |
| Golden SMG | The same gun. Considerably shinier. | 120 |
| Red Scarf | Streams behind you when you pounce. | 150 |
| Reading Glasses | Surprisingly intimidating. | 180 |
| Purple Cape | Does not grant flight. Looks like it might. | 220 |
| Old Man Cat | Throws a cane that comes back to him. | 250 |
| Midnight Sniper | Matte black, for cats who take it seriously. | 300 |
| Serious Cat | Stares. Things that are stared at stop being well. | 400 |
| Ugly Cat | Hurts to look at. Literally. | 600 |
| Handsome Cat | So good-looking it is a weapon. | 900 |
Old Man Cat is listed at 250 but is also the one thing that can drop free after a win — roughly a one-in-four-hundred roll.
Play it before you buy anything
The free game is the whole game. Decide about the $12.99 afterwards, or never.
